Berry Blossom Hamstery is a small breeder of Syrian hamsters located in South Grafton Massachusetts. I have been breeding for about 5 years now on my own. I started working with small animals breeding in high school at Norfolk Aggie where I first hand learned about breeding small animals. I had always had hamsters growing up and found it very rewarding to breed for a more sound and quality hamster. Our babies are handled daily from the safest age possibly to help ensure a friendly hamster. My daughter is also a very big help in the rearing of the babies and care of all the hamsters at BBH.
We stride to provide healthy happy hamsters to individuals looking for a perfect furry friend. We are against buy from pet stores since they contribute to large animal mill. Mills breed in undesirable conditions leading to high rates of sick, and stressed animals. Once a hamster is shipped out to the pet chains they will start to encounter their first human contact. Which typical leads to becoming aggressive hamster at no fault of their own. If you are interested in a baby or adopting a retired hamster please contact me. We do encourage you to ask about being added to a waiting list for babies, and once a litter is 14 days old I will begin handling and sexing the babies. We do ask for full payment to hold a sex of your choice. We do typically wait till closer to 6 weeks at go home to pick a baby to stay here at the hamstery. We will do our best to get the color of your choice. We do accept paypal for convenience and safety of both the hamstery and the adopter. We will only adopt out two hamsters at a time if they are of the same sex and owner is aware they may not be housed together, as Syrians are solitary animals.
